Default hissy noise

i am driving my step dads 95 accord its an F22B2 i think is what the stamp said... anyway im going 70 on the highway all the sudden the car starts making a hissy sounds but its only when i press down on the gas.... if im coasting it doesnt make the sound... if i am sitting at a stop light in neutral and rev the car it does make the sound.... i believe the noise is coming from the internals of the car but i am trying to get a better idea..... its takes about 30 seconds to get to 60mph now by the way... please someone give some advice

Pop the hood and listen. May be an intake leak. Did this happen suddenly or did it start happening just after having work done on the vehicle?

WHENS THE LAST TRANSMISSION FLUSH DONE, THE REASON WHY I SAY THIS IS BECAUSE I SEEN AN 03 ECLIPSE HISSY WHEN U GIVE IT ABOUT 1/2 GAS PEDAL IT WOULD HANG AROUND 4000 RPMS, BUT IN NEUTRAL WAS FINE, IT SHIFTED FINE TOO, TRY SLAMMIN THE GAS TO THE FLOOR AND SEE IF IT HANGS ON ANY RPMS, A TRANSMISSION FLUSH FIXED THE PROBLEM ON THE ECLIPSE, CHECK YOUR FLUID. YOU NEED TO DO A TRANNY FLUSH EVERY 60K MILES ANYWAYS.

What did they do about the belt? Did they figure out why it skipped? Did they put it back on correctly?

a bad tensionr could cause it to skip, but that would give problems threw the whole driveing range, and would back fire at idle if you dont advance the timeing all the way. never heard a hissing sound from a timing belt skiping.
