Ok at first i could live with it but now its just retarded.

EJ8 with a b16b swapped with BC4 head package tuned on hondata s200...

Ok now that thats out of the way, within the last couple of months (now that is hot out) my car acts up when driving hard, but not always. When taching out the car to the fullest extend everything is fine however when i drive the car hard but shift before red-line (like mid power band) it starts to go baaa baaa baaa baaa trying to get power but there isnt any (much like is a spark plug came off only in a pulsing manner. I recently performed a tune up thinking that might be it and i thought it was but it still does it. Some one else said it could be the mounts, engine is moving around so now the power inst making it out of the motor (not sure about that) really its like a bad tune, tunes dont go bad and it didnt start doing it for a while after the tune. Let me know if my description os lacking and i will try and explain better. This is an intermitant problem and cant reproduce it everytime, it only does it when it wants to.

 

Oh and to add to the problem...once i shift and it starts bucking and going bwaaah bwahhh bwahhh i can ppush in the clutch and let the rpms die down a bit and she will start pulling like a hooker giving a hand job again.

see if one of your sensors came undone or is messed up. Take it back to where you got it tuned. They should diagnose for free.

Not a bad idea i will call them and see what they think...in the mean time any other ideas?

 

cant really say without testing sensors...but maybe a distributor problem? TPS issue? Fuel issue? Tuning map out of wack for some reason? Spark issue? hard to say, bro.

Yeah i hear ya. I will give them a call...will the extra cash for the datalogging on my s200 finally pay for itself?
