freon ac
I'm guessing your wanting to know what freon code is for you car, which I'm guessing is the 95 civic.
I'm pretty sure that they are R134 A.
Somewhere in 5th gen series they changed it to R134 A. Mine 92 is R 12.
Hope that helps.

most likely R-12, you can look at the fittings for servicing the A/C...smaller is usally R-12, bigger is R-134a...92-93 is R-12 unless someone converted your system to 134a
R-12 is now a banned refrigerant (or at least it is here in canada) and i think it is illegal to fill it up. you might have to live how it with it is now or do a conversion.

Just convert your r12 system. I converted my 93 cx hatch to r-134. I only added one bottle of the r134. My a/c blows 40 degrees F. It does take a little bit longer to cool down, but it gets pretty cold.
If your r12 system has no leaks, then just recharge with the r12. It will cost about 200-300 bucks, but it has a more biting coldness that the r134 lacks.
