Default Main relay kill switch question.... SEARCHED

Ok there arent many threads on the main relay kill switch. Or atleast there isnt any for the efs.

So I saw one thread for an EG and it said the Black wire was the ground you cut. But I cut that and it being disconnected made the main relay have a very very fast continuous click. So Im not thinking that thats the ground. And if it is, then thats a lame place to disconect it because it would lead the thief right to the main relay.

So does anyone have either the wire diagram or the color of the wire that needs to be cut? That would be great.
Thanks

Use a volt meter, touch the positive probe (lol, hahah, blah blah) to a constant power wire (like the wire on the ignition, it's white on my EG, may be different on an EF) or the positive battery terminal, then toucht the other probe (lol, hahaha, blah blah) to each wire on the main relay (should be 5 right?) until you get voltage. Once you catch voltage, that's your ground...There is only one ground ( I think), the rest are power (+) wires for fuel pump, injectors, etc., so you won't have to worry about getting a bunch of readings from all wires.

Also for reference, I believe the main relay has a diagram on it that shows where the ground is...

Check it out...

Im yabas friend and I work on cars with him and was helping him on this.

There isnt a map on the relay itself. When I cut the ground and turned the key to accesories it was buzzing. Is this normal if you cut the ground? And if so, wouldnt that just lead the thief right to the sources of the car not starting?

Yea, I was gonna say that I have actually never heard of a "main relay kill switch". Usually it's just a kill switch from the fuel pump. If the relay makes a noise when you put the key in, then that will definately lead a thief straight to the problem. Just do a normal fuel pump kill switch. If you are skeptical about having this switch, 'cuz you think a thief might find it, wire like 2 or more switches in a series (they have to be flipped a certain way) so you won't have to worry about it. Basically this means that lets say you have 3 switches, one will have to be flipped one way, and the others another way or how ever you decide to make 'em. Make sure after a few feet of wire, you use a relay or a fuse so you don't kill your pump.

the main relay kill switch is actually recomended over the fuel pump one. I already have the fuel one.

But the main relays ground is very low voltage so you wouldnt need a high amp switch. Plus its another way to kill you fuel pump and injectors at the same time.
