Clutch help on eg
put the car in gear and jack it up on both sides in the front. turn one wheel and if the other one spins (the opposite direction) then you need a new clutch. if the other wheel doesn't spin then you need to find out which axle you broke.
oh and to make sure your pedal is working, pull the boot back from the clutch fork (this is the boxy looking black rubber thing next to the slave cylinder on the front side of the transmission), and have a friend watch the fork and slave to make sure they move when you move the pedal up and down.

What does it do exactly? I had that happen to me a few years ago and it was the slave clutch cyl. the master one would push the fluid out, but it wasn't working on the slave cyl. Oh but my clutch pedal fell strait to the floor, and was limp.
When you push the pedal in, you will see a small rod on the slave cylinder move in and out (while pedal is being pushed/released). If you don't see this rod move, then you have a leak, or faulty clutch master cylinder/slave master cylinder. If it does move, yet the car will not move in gear still, then something internally has gone wrong.
k so i put the car on jacks and spun one wheel but the other didn't spin so that would mean axle broken but how do i know which one also on my brakes i found that the rubber boot is ripped by the cylinder(is that bad)
