no these two issues will not throw a code...

try this and clean your iacv screen.

ok i just cleaned the iacv screen , but i can not find the fitv for my life , from searching and looking at pics it looks like its under the throttle body . i have a holley 68mm and there is not one there , im gonna check under the intake manifold now ....

its not the cable , i loosened it up and it slowed the idle speed a little bit ...but its still at like 1500 rpms . but if i plug the hole in the side of the tb it slows to about 1000 or 1100 rpms

for some odd reason i cant find my bookmarks on this.

there was a definitive problem that was diagnosed by covering up the whole in the throttle body, and i know it dealt with opening the valve and screwing the internal screw thing all the way doewn to stop it from leaking, but i cant remember if it was the fitv of iacv.

dude i can almost gurantee the issue is whatever controls the air going into the hole you covered. which i believe would be the iacv, look up the fix for that and your issue will be resolved.
