Default Civic running like Crap

I have a 93 Civic DX with about 200k miles. So heres the story I was driving it on the highway then the CEL came on and it went into limp. Got it back home and saw that it was shooting blueish white smoke that reeked of gas and it idled like crap. I'm right now thinking that it might be the MAP sensor???

you might possibly have an injector stuck open. a car with that many miles might have a lot of carbon build up on one injector. take them out and inspect them. clean them with carb cleaner and make sure none are broken. if that doesnt fix them, try some fuel injector cleaner. same thing happened to me 2 months ago and I just went to a junkyard and got 4 new ones. ended up that one was broke on the end.

Might want to check and see what the computer thinks is wrong first...

To the OP, check out this thread to find out what code you have:

d15 injectors=1.5L engine
d16=1.6L engine

they work, just not the same tho.. cant really tell the difference. if u have a d15 id use the 1.5L injectors, just to keep everything in propotion.

if ur not sure of the codes just check online.. but yah 16 is fuel injectors. that dont mean that the injectors are done tho. mine came on and their was a cut wire on one of the injectors. so basicly what im saying is htat it could just be a dirty connection or something like that..

Okay I just pulled the injectors and they were ALL carbon fouled so I dropped them off at my friends shop to get them cleaned and hopefully that will solve it
