Default SURGING ENGINE and RADIO POWER

ok here it goes,
Ive brought this to several techs to try and fix, they keep replacing everything else but not fixing my problem,,,I HOPE someone here can help me

- water leaked in my car on the passenger side floor 3 months ago, leak has been repired yay...but

My engine idels very very rough after 5 minutes running, when driving its there sometimes and sometimes not so much...

ive replaced main relay , fixed problem for a day replaced ignition , fixed problem for a few hours....
ive replaced nearly every wiring harness i can.
fuel pump, fuel filter, battery, all relays and fuses , - replaced
scrubbed and greased ,any connectors

when i reset the ECU the problem is gone for hours then amazingly comes back,,,
HONDA techs have told me there is nothing wrong with my ecu,,,i dont know what else it could be though ? before i go replacing the ecu for the money is high i want to be sure

what does anyone think about this problem ?

i had this problem when the windshield craked about 6 years ago and leaked on passenger floor and all i remember is when the tech did fix it back then he said the radio not getting power, the transmission shifting awkwardly and the rough idle were all related but back then i was too dumb to write down what he replaced and i cant find the recipt,,,i guess now days techs arent what they used to be,,,,PLEASE HELP ME !!!

when the water got on the passenger side floor the radio surged power on and off till i dried it all up...then when it finally went dead completely is when the rough idle started..

i cant be any more specific about this problem,,if anyone knows the answer ill buy you a drink or whatever you want,,,

Im gonna take a wild *** guess here.

I cant blame you for looking for a problem related to your leak... its the human think to do. Im more inclined to think its an ignition issue. You might have moisture in the cap , need a new or maybe the coil is going...

I think you need to look under the hood

You have done so much already that this is a tough one.... Could you have a bad ground and or maybe the fuse box on the driver side managed to get wet? You may have a corroded fuse.

This is just a guess, but I would check out all the ground connections. One on the passenger side may have gotten wet, and is now rusting and loosing connection. Good luck finding the gremlin though.

You will want to be careful here.... Unless you know how to unlock your radio , pulling a fuse could cause a major problem.

Default article i found online from a tech

Foreign Service
Motor, Nov 2005 by Marinucci, Dan

Recently, a technician I know was straggling to diagnose intermittent stalling, surging and rough idle symptoms on a 1993 Honda Accord. The root of all the trouble was an intermittent connection in the power supply circuit to the ECM. Several years ago, I wrote about a splice located about 4 in. to the left of the ECM on early 1990s Accords. The splice, which the factory covers in blue tape, contains black/yellow wires that power the ECM, injectors, IAC and oxygen sensor heater. Sure enough, carefully resoldering this junction solved all the car's problems.

***** This sounds like could be my problem of the corosion and the symptoms are the same __but what does he mean a junction ? just 2 wires soldered together,, and what do you think robert,,thanks
-chris

ps
i tested my coil and it has the correct voltage and reading it said i had to meet the requirements in the chilten book i have,

Default ok i tried some things

i found a bunch of corroded wire all where the wires were,,,

before i found those i replaced the coil you were talking about,,,neither of these things did anything and i remembered to reset the ecu...

ummm im thinking now its the main relay as when i replaced it was before the resoldering of the found corroded junction ( and that was what failed again ) or its my oxegen sensor ?

what you think ?
