It's pretty easy.

1) Take off stock shift ****.

2) Jack up car and secure with jack stands.

3) Find the end of the shift linkage. There should be two 12mm bolts holding in a bushing with a metal D clip. Remove these bolts.

4) Remove the 12mm bolt holding the shifter arm to the shift linkage.

5) Remove your stock shifter. There may be two 10mm nuts holding the pivot bushing hardware to the shifter arm.

6) Remove the pivot bushing hardware from the stock shifter arm.

Install is the reverse.

Here's a good how-to, but you don't really need to remove the linkage.

Yes, get the kit from es or prothane.

Prothanes is a little stiffer, I like it.

Really the whole install is self explanatory. Just get under there and take a look at it. Shift linkages are very simple.

I cannot believe how fast they shipped here. I bought it from a guy's eBay store called Mr.AutoWurks. It is genuine Skunk2, I'm looking at it right now, so you don't have to worry about that. Here is the link to his eBay store where he is currently selling combo packages; the short shifter and the ****. Very, very fast shipping. I paid $128.00 shipped. Extremely good deal, everything is brand new.

Just click that and check out that eBay auction. Genuine Skunk2 folks for only $128.00 shipped. Get it while you can.
He has about 12 other eBay auctions up with the same deal so, don't be discouraged if the link I gave you was already purchased.
Just look up his name, and click Items for Sale.

Or, the way I found it, just goto http://www.ebay.com , and type "skunk2 short" into the search box. It will bring up a bunch of them for that cheap.
