what to do......turbo or all motor
My parents just baught me a 97 integra ls 4 door with an lsvtec swap(b16 head). I am confused. I am trying to decide wheather to go all motor or do a turbo. I know you can probably get more hp out of a turbo kit, but thats not really my concern. I want to reach the 200 whp mark either way. I am going to be buying pistons and cams and possibly cams gears within the next month or so. My question is what piston and cam combo is a good one that I can use without a turbo for now, then when I have the money put a turbo kit on there and gain hp from these pistons and cams. I want to upgrade my pistons and cams now, and gain whp. Eventually I want to buy a turbo kit.
also for a turbo set up as of right now I have itr intake cam, should I just buy the exhuast cam? or go with a more agressive aftermarket cams?
nobody is going to help you because you havent researched.
no pistons are going to make power all motor then work well when you go turbo.
save your money, wait and do it right.
as for cams, gsr cams are cheap, pick up a set of cam gears to tune out overlap.

If you are only looking for 200whp then you might as well stay all motor, but if you want more power in the future then go turbo. You should only upgrade your pistons for a turbo application only if they cant handle the power you will make, and leave the cams stock.

It also depends on your budget. It takes about the same amount of money to make 200whp on motor as it does to make about 400whp with a turbo car and have them both reliable.
