Default car wont start after changing thermostat and fan switch

changed thermostat and fan switch last night and then started engine and let the cooling system bleed, everything was completely normal

went to start car this morning and nothing, doenst crank, absolutley nothing from engine bay but lights on dash come on as usual

never had single problem like this in years ive had car and starts perfect everytime

any suggestions what to check (im guessing maybe a fuse blew but very wierd)

car is 97 ek4

could be your starter or main relay.i had the same problem months ago with all the lights on the cluster but got nothing from engine bay.i checked the main relay and it was find.so unplug the starter and plugged it back and the car started.so i know the starter was bad.
