Car wont start
My car sat for 1 week while on vacation and when I came back it won't start. before I left the battery died because I have the fan on a switch and left it on while in the gas station but jumped it after and it was fine. Now the problem is I get in the car and everything lights up cluster radio headlights fuel pump everything. When I turn the key nothing happens no click or anything the fuel pump just kicks on again. I tried to jump it and same thing. There was a popped 20 fuse replaced it and it did nothing to. Any help would be appreciated
What kind of car do you have? So you're saying that nothing at all happens when you turn the key? Do you hear the starter solenoid click? Do you hear the main relay click on and off when you turn the ign switch to the on position? Do the dash lights stay on solid while turning the key or do they flicker?
I have a 94 Teg and nothing happens when I turn the key. It makes no click sound at all only thing that happens is the cluster dims a for a spit sec an comes back on right after when the fuel pump kicks again and when I try to start it again it just does the same kicking the fuel pump again.
So, I had that problem with my crx. I got a gsr swap in mine. The common things to check would be clutch sensor switch and the ignition switch. Mine had a really random problem though. A fuse had melted the entire back of the fuse box. From the front it looked fine but the fuse box was destroyed.
Draining an old battery may be the final insult. It seemed to charge with a jump. Now it is not clear wheather you have a battery with no amperage, or another electrical problem. Use a multimeter and poor man's load the battery - check the voltage and then recheck with headlights on. A good healthy battery with tolerate this with little voltage drop. Bad battery will fairly quickly drop voltage below 12.6v with lights on.r may sit below 12.6. Good battery is usually 12.8+. As asked, what is with the fuse problem?

Thanks for all the info I will check tommarow and let u kno what the deal is by the way battery is reading 14.9 but may be a false reading I am goin to check the starter and main relay. As for the fuse box it is re located and I could see it and wasnt destroyed thanks again for the help I'll update in a day or so
Alternator charges to 14.4v and 14.9 will gas off a battery and kill it. I doubt that the voltage is correct. I do not believe a battery will sit there, 14.9v, when not on a charger to hold it.
Not to sure what the issue was today my boy came over and we were gonna check out the starter an stuff but when I tried to show him the issue it started right up. We checked the car over and all that we saw was a loose iac line that's all thanks for the help from everyone
Check your main grounds, [common problem] batt., batt. to chassis and chassis to engine, [remove, clean and reconnect].
A poor ground connection would result in the issues you are having, including working now, but will leave you stuck again. 94
