Don't take it to a ******* shop, troubleshoot it.

-Are you throwing any codes?
-What motor is it?
-What TB did you put on it
-Plug all sensors in?

Give us a little story on what you did

CEL's? Maybe it's in limp mode, is it a cutoff, or is it seriously bogging?

i would say your sensors, double check your work. this may sound stupid, but just trying to help. also check your oil level in case it's just running low
