what the hell its over heating!!! :s
well it didnt over heat on the highway a while ago when i had the engine rebuilt but then i decided to switch to an eg radiator and this was the first time starting it up...i think i let it idle for 10-15 minutes while i was scrubbing dust off the windshield then i took it for a drive around the block since its been sitting forever.
it didnt start over heating until i put it back into the garage then i noticed it was 3/4 ways up the gauge. my fan doesnt come on and the thermostat and headgasket is new. maybe make the fan work? any ideas?

how do you get the air outa system??? i didnt replace minewith eg, i still have my stock fan/rad... just when i put my motor back in, ever since, my fan dont go on, and it starts to overheat after sitting for little....
really? i didnt really know hondas have an on/off switch for the coolant fan, mind showing a picture?? oh i figured it out now...the thermostat works and the head gasket is ok...i think my fan is just dead and so then it over heats if it sits for a while...
but yeah lets see that fan on/off switch.

It's only there because somebody ghetto-rigged it to be that way. No auto manufacturer in their right mind would give drivers the option of turning their coolant fan on/off manually.
OP, if you have a Helms manual, follow their procedure for testing the fan switch, relay and wiring harness. My bet is on it overheating because the fan isn't operating. Another possibility is that there's air in your system.

Lol, moving on.......Check ur fan or coolant fan switch. I had a bad fan and relay. The relay is located next to the passenger side headlight.
