Hello. I have the H22a swap in the car. I am wondering about the distributor. Do i use the h22a dist. with the internal coil or do I use the H23 dist. with the external coil. Also are there any other things I should be aware of with the wiring or anything? Thanks before hand for any help!!

Use the H23a1 distributor and external coil.

 

next time search but the h23 dizzy will work on the h22a and you just modify the external coil braket i believe. Yall Si's are prewired for vtec so not too much wiring, but there is some minor wiring to be done

 

93+ Preludes are pre-wired for VTEC because the 92's didn't have H22's, at least not in America.

 

ok thanks. I did put the h23 dist. in it but just double checking. I still have to change oil and new coolant so we will see how it goesafter that.

well i got everything together started it up and it has very crappy idle and is throwing a map code. I tried a different map sensor and it is still doing the same thing. Any one have any input on where to look to correct this?
