Ok, I've got an extra set of headlights (that some stupid guy painted over with black so now I have to get the paint off) but I got them free. I'm wondering what i should do with them. I'm thinking about doing the black paint stuff but I've seen some homemade projector headlights for Del Sols.

Does anyone have any walkthroughs for making your own projector look alike headlights, or anything cool I can do.


BTW I am just wanting a project I can do indoors because sanding my car outside in 100+ degree heat is not something I want to do.

 

retrofit some hids to them

 

I've heard a lot about light scattering with that, since they weren't designed for that. Any FAQS or how to's on what I need and how to do it? By the way, I don't have a lot of money.

 

Tou would need to sand down and buff out any of the unevenness in the the lens of the headlight for the retrofit to work properly, otherwise it's not much metter than a direct bolt in kit. you could also just do a black/color matched housing...pretty much all I can think of would be either retrofit or paint them

 

Can someone point me to a place with wiring info, because I have no idea what I need to wire up the projectors.

Also, what would be a good car to get them off of? This guy got them off of a Maxima.
