Mine is just an opinion, but if I had an EM1 and it was my daily I wouldn't put nitrous on it. Like I said though, thats just my opinion... I would be hesitant.

The most I would do to a DD would be add a cold air intake. Chances are you will gain maybe 1-3 MPG off it.

If you wanna do it just to have fun with it, go ahead. Nitrous is so ****** cheap... Just don't abuse your dd, you'll regret not having a car when you blow your piston rings or throw a rod. If you want good power out of your motor, build that head, and boost it. you can do that reliably.

Don't put nitrous in your dd. That will just make you want to street race.
Besides, why not stick with permanent power?
My vote is buy a small turbo like a 14b or 15g, run that motor to 6-10 psi, and be done with it.

I/H/E won't potentially harm your "A->B" machine. I say just go with that, and enjoy the fun, not the fire.
IMO, nitrous is not worth the risk of having no car at all, you'd be better off without it.

save your motor bro, spaying, even doing it the right way is still bad for your motor. My buddy ran a 75 shot on his gsr for a couple of months, stock internals, did it the right way too. Months afterwards he said the motor felt tired.
