I think i have a short or something. Everytime i put my ignition switch to on or about to start itll blow a fuse. The fuse that is blowing under the dash is 24 and from the website redpepper its srs unit vb? Unless its a mistake. I went through most of the wires that i can see and nothing is worn or torn.

Sounds like there could be an ignition wire grounding out somewhere on the steering assembly. Take off the steering wheel column cover and check the wires from the ignition cylinder to see if they are uncovered or fraying anywhere.

 

did you do anything like new stering wheel or somethin before the fuse started to blow...if you did go back and check connections or if you grounded a wrong wire

 

i havent mess with the car at all. It just started doing it out of the blue. But ill try to check for loose wires under the steering column. But what is srs VB? Also what does that got to do with not letting my car start? Sometimes my car will start for like 10sec then the fuse blows. Its so random

 

since you didn't state which car, I'm guessing that you have a 92-95. (96-00 doesn't have SRS to fuse 24)
