B16 Cable tranny on 2nd gen B16
I've been finding good deals on sencond gen B16, but i have an S1 cable tranny. I was wondering if I can just use that or do I have to buy a hasport hydro kit?
all B-series trannies fit on all b-series motors. Use the S1 cable trans so it bolts right in w/o having to waste money on mounts for a hydro tranny you don't even need. other than running ITR or CTR trannnies the hydro conversion kit is a total waste of money on an EF. All you gotta do is make sure your clutch disc has the same number of splines as your tranny or just make sure it slides on the tranny like it's supposed to. All the B-series pressure plates and flywheels bolt up the same, the disc is the only difference and it goes from 89-91 (OBD 0) and 92-01 (OBD 1 and 2)

..well no THOSE of course don't bolt up being that they are a completely different setup (but wtf they stamped them w/ B's is beyond me?).
soooo......to recap, all INTEGRA and CIVIC b-series are interchangleable w/ ea. other. NO PRELUDES
