Default Anyone have these issues with ACL Bearings?

The package may have been dropped? Guy I bought them from says that every pack he has sold in the last 3 years looks like this and that once I open the package it will be fine. I am worried that the 2 bearings will be tweaked?

Just looks like the shrink wrap shifted them during the process. They look fine to me.

What I am worried about is the bearings getting squashed. That one on the outside will be wider and the one on the inside will be mashed together. Sure it might be okay, but after spending about $2000 on parts and machine work and tearing my engine apart for the second time in 400 miles I can't help but be a bit paranoid now. I just had big problems with bearings that were mashed when I accidentally switched the rod caps, torqued them and then put them back when I realized I messed up. My other concern too, was that the guy who sold me them said ALL the ACL bearings he has sold in the last three years were this way. I find that hard to believe so I put the pic up and was asking if anyone else got theirs this way.

I have a set right here in front of me that look like that. As long as theres no chips or major cuts in the bearing itself it will clip right into place.

i use acl bearings in my b18c and its goin strong. Package looked like that when i got it in the mail to. Shouldn't have any problems. Just make sure you get the clearences right. I heard that the clearences with acls and other aftermarkets are tighter than the oem ones so just research that up. Do it right the first time

Thanks. That is most of what I wanted to know. If other people got theirs like that or if the guy was bullshitting me.
