If i have a 93 civic hb with a 95 h22 during the swap which i wasnt a part of would you normally swap out the fuel pump of the shell vehicle for the pump from the motor car. Appreciate any help.

You won't need a new fuel pump unless you're turbocharging the crap out of the new motor...
And when that happens, the fuel pump from the donor vehicle won't do, anyways.
