Default issues with mocal sandwich adaptors? good product?

anybody have any issues with your mocal thermostat-equipped oil cooler sandwich plate?

i've been running one, and i'm trying to track down some weird oil pressure issues.. just want to rule it out. i searched, and there doesnt seem to be much info on mocal stuff out there.

Search for sandwich plates in general, as MOST of them are Mocal units. I kind of remember something about a few bad castings where the oil flows through, and where that little spring-ball thingy is. I know there's a D-shaped outlet that can be a big restriction, especially if it was cast poorly.

I've used one for several years and it has been reliable up to this point. I haven't had any oil pressure issues from mine that I know about.

Mine has been good also. I've had it on my track car for about a year now.
