that's an even worse idea than a test pipe
leave your stock cat on. i doubt you're moving enough air to see the benefits of a high flow cat or testpipe.

gutting a cat leaves a void inside it where the catalyst material was. this causes turbulence for the exhaust gases. you want them to exit the exhaust system as quickly as possible.
