ATTN Florida people...
Hello all, I'm going to be moving to FL from CA here in the next month and am in need of a good mechanic/ shop/ tuner to purchase parts and have work done and adjustments to my tunning through. Please let me know who to recommend and who to stay away from. I will be moving to the Orlando area. Also how are the cops around there, do they bother you often for exhaust or just to break ***** or do they leave you alone if you arent provoking them? Thanks for the help and the info

Orlando area (Maitland) not worried about a drive if the shop is reputable and i like their work.

LHT Performance in Pinellas Park.. For the Cops depends on the day and who the cop is i guess. Ive only had a few problems with them one cause I have Limo Tint all around and 50% on the Windshield. My exhaust is loud only got one ticket but the cop was cool with it and gave me a fix it ticket and thats really it.
+1 for Lht kinda far drive but well worth it, Also Orlando is realy bad with car thieves so watch out.

Lucky bastard. Make sure you rustoleum the vulnerable parts of your car ASAP, if the rust problems there are as bad as I've heard.

the rust isn't all that bad. if your **** sits around then yes. but as far as a daily driver, only rust i have on a 14 year old car is above the rear wheels on the fender lip. not to bad.
edit: i live nearly across the street from the beach as well. can get much closer than i am.

Exactly my point. That is one of the most vulnerable parts of our cars to rust. Take some preventative steps, and it should all be easily prevented.
