ok well my a6 was smoking so i tryed everything i could think of with out taking the head off. Know i got i it off and i could see in side of the head there was oil driping down the valve. Like if it was all built driping toward the piston. what would cause this..

 

If you dont know that.....you shouldn't be taking the motor apart. BUT.....you should replace the valve stem seals and the valve guides.
Look into a shop doing a whole valve job for you, then put it back together.

I totally agree, at least have a service manual handy, if you are going to tear your engine apart, if you don't know what your doing. I would also say it is the valve stem seals.

 

yea i was going to take it to get to get a three angle job done . like i tell everyone i dont know everything but i do know alot.. Thanks though i was going to replace the rods pistons and all the good stuff. I was wanting to go honda can i put some from a diffrent motor or does it have to be a6?
