Default rear popping noise.

Every time i hit a bump or go incline on a drive way I hear this popping noise in the rear .

Yesterday i got fed up with the popping noise so i just open the trunk and jump on the rear of my car.
I hear the popping noise a little but i just can't pin point where is it coming from the rear.
Could it be my trailing arm bushing???
Because it a little crack and every bump I hit or just bounce in my car it make **** load of squeaking noise.

My suspension set up are H&R race spring with AGX adjustable.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

Bushings is best bet. Did you ever notice a squeak before? My front lower control arm bushing started going bad. Started out as an annoying squeak at the beginning, then as time went by, the rubber wore out untill it became metal to metal contact. Eventually it go LOUD and just popped every time the car would shift it's weight forward and would cause the arm to move.

Edit : I just read the last part of the post lol.. sounds like meeeeee back then.

Does is kinda sound like a golf ball bouncing around in your trunk? I had the same noise and it drove me crazy. I tore apart everything trying to find it. Well it ended up being my shock (i had kyb agx's also). I bet thats whats going on with your car.

but i wonder why isn't the front making any popping noise because it mostly take all the hits in the front then the rear???

But i think my rear shocks still work because every time i change the settings on the agx in the rear i could feel the stiffnest and softnest.

Do you have a rear anti-sway bar? If so, check the bushings on it as well.

lol my car is a dx so no sway bar.
i hope i put the bump stop in right because i went from shock, bump stop, washer, boot, washer, top hat, washer, then nut.
correct me if i was wrong.

the thing that is circle in yellow that will not let me push the bump stop more down so is that right or i should've force it down???

If I change the settings on how soft or stiff and i could feel it when i drive.
Does that tell me that the struts aren't blown????

I just wanted to throw out a suggestion before more money is thrown at this problem, unless you are absolutely certain that spending the $$$$ on a Coilover setup will solve it, and that doing so is your "best" option.

If you put your car on Jackstands, you can then use your Jack to "preload" each of the corners. This won't give you the same "speed" of movement (susp. travel) as it might while you drive, but it might help identify what & where your problem is...

In any case, I hope the solution is as easy and inexpensive as possible. Certain Government policies have proven that more $$$$ doesn't necessarily solve problems... but it does make it more expensive. Sometimes spending more time is better than spending more money. I hope this is the case for you.

Also, if you have a Video Camera, you can post a vid of your car making the noise. While we (others) might not be able to pinpoint the problem via video, at least we can see what your car's doing when it makes the noise.

Anyway, Good Luck, and give us an update!

thank all for the help but I already found the problem.
My springs wasn't seated in the pocket firmly.

As for me that I thought my shocks are blown it wasn't because i saw guy on the freeway and that **** was really bouncy when he hit a bump. But it sure does look fun lol.

I guessing this is how it feel with your car is drop.
a little rough and bounce.
