Do you have adjustables? Trial and error, why are you asking us?
EDIT: Through trial and error, you may find that 17s don't permit you the drop that you find aesthetically pleasing, ie: probably only an inch or so

sooo true 15's and 16's will give you the best look IMHO 17's on a civic look like something out of DONK magazine

That's your answer right there, you little ****. Sorry you can's sL4m y0 wH1p to tha ground like you want.
On a 5th gen, there isn't all that much room to work with until you scrape on everything in creation or your wheels rub all the time.
Id dropped my EG 1.5" on 15's and it could probably go 14" lower without much drama. 17's would still look WAY jacked up w/ a 1.5" drop.

Re: Lowering 95' civic (gunzNdiamondz)
i have a 1.6 in drop on mine with 17's and no camber kit. my passenger side rubs when i turn sharp because of a bad wheel bearing. and maybe a worn strut. but it looks good.

I think mine looks ok... I thinking 16" rotas for track days (when it becomes a track car.. lol) but for DD 1.25 lowered on nuespeed springs/ stock shocks/struts.. meh its ok.
