What's got more low-end power.. k20a3 or k20z3?

Just got a $$$ job and thinking about doing the whole k swap thing.
I keep seeing conflicting specs on the k20a3 ( previous gen si motor )..
A general consensus says that the k20a3 has more low-end torque/hp and the new si engine just keeps producing power up high but produces a little less power down low..
but i'm looking for low end power more than anything. Which is why i probably won't be doing the b18 swap or turbo D i was thinking of before..
So, looking for someone who's driven cars with both k series engine.. what's better at low end?
