x2 At least go into detail on all the steps you took.

If you didn't agree with the post, why did you bump it up? It's been almost a month since the last post.

Doing the same repair on mine at 98k miles. (2001 EX 5-speed)
Passenger side control arm is out. Will post pics later.
My CV boot is torn but no clacking when turning. Can I replace just the boot?
Also both struts are shot so they will be replaced.

i knew mine went bad, when i could here a loud popping noise coming from thaT General area every single time i went over a bump. no matter how big or small the bump was, and no matter what speed i went over the bump. it sucked. and the ride sucked.
possibly. mine made a scraping noise all the time. dunno about a diy.
here is what i did.
1. take wheels off.
2. remove control arms (i used a haynes manual to tell me how) i think there is like three bolts, then used a ball joint puller to disconnect that.
3. after the center of the worn out ones fell out upon removal i had to use a sawzall to remove the rest, being careful not to cut the actual arm.
4. now you need to press the new bushings in. i went to my local bike shop, cuz i know i guy there and he pressed them in for me. trust me thats the easiest way. i know you can freeze them, then hammer them in, but its a pain in the ***.
5. reinstall.
6. reinstall wheel.
7. drive noise free.
