Peanut oil is good for a number of things, but dont expect it to work very well...and besides, they have peanut oil you can buy, so you dont have to smear peanut butter on your hood/wheels lol.

ive seen lots of people restore there cf hoods with peanut butter on h-t.
the thing is
it looks amazing for a few days then goes back to how it looked after about a week or two ( i guess once the oils from the pb are gone)

PB works to remove the glue off stickers (sort of)..... i used it on my hood and it didn't mess it up....
My hood was rapppppeeeed and now it looks like this. I got a local body shop to sand it down and put a few coats of clear on it. Cost me like $200 dollars.
If you don't want to spend that much on restoring it. Go to a wal-mart near a lake, or to a local marina. Buy the 3m marine restorer/wax for heavy oxidation. works wonders. i bought some and haven't used it on this newest hood, but it worked last time.
i tried the 3m boat **** that didn't really work for me, i just had some guys that painted my car re-clear my hood and duckbill both came out looking brand new
