Found a Civic Si with 87k for $1500!
I found a 91 Civic Si in pretty good shape. It's only got a couple of door dings and a scratch on the rear bumper. It Looks good except for being that ugly teal green
, but if it runs good and isn't salvaged, $1500 sounds like a pretty good price to me! I've been looking for a Civic to "play" with!

ugly teal green
That's cool. I looked for a long time & finally found a 90 Si hatch for $800 - needs work not to look it, though it runs strong.

Tahitan Green and Y-49 are both "polar" colors. People like them or don't. It was kind of risky for honda to produce economy cars in polar colors.

My sister ordered Tahitian green and when the car showed up she started crying right at the dealership. She passed on it and took the very next civic that came into the dealership. Lucky for me, because the car was given to me as a graduation gift, the next car in was Rio Red!

I had a chance to inspect it closer after work. It has multiple flaws on the body... mostly minor dents and dings, scratches here and there and a very small amount of rust. It looks really good from about 10 feet, get close though and the flaws start to show. Those scratches and dents add up for someone that knows nothing about body work!
The engine is FILTHY! I mean NASTY, I've never seen one so dirty. Not oily, just dirt road type dirty, and there is pine straw all in the cowl! It's all stock, even still has the resonator attached. It runs great though and they said it doesn't use any oil.
The interior is OK, minor stitching coming loose, it's missing the fuse box cover and the rear shelf. This would be a good car to sink some money into. I'm going to try to get it for $1200 or less.
Oh yea, the A/C is broken... that's a $300 repair right there!

is the a/c actually broken or missing some parts, or does it just have a slight leak and needs an a/c freon charge? if the freon gets below a designated point, it'll shut the compressor off and won't come on even if you turn it on manually on the dash......so it might just need freon.
