New Honda Civic Si Owner!
I bought my 1992 Civic Si from my uncle for 3500 last month and I love it! It's my first manual car and I got pretty good at driving it around town. It could definitely use some work to the motor (stock). Here's some pictures I took.

Thanks. It has the stock D16Z6 right now with 224,XXX miles on it lol.
Eventually I want to swap in a B18C but I gotta do some research on what can and can't get BAR'd in CA.

Great looking car, nice color, put some 99-00 si wheels on that and it will make the car look far better and it will bring out the color even more.

Clean Hatch! Love the color as well. Invest into some good security installed in the correct ways before you do anything else. Just my opinion.

Thanks, yeah I have a pretty good Clifford alarm set up on it right now.
I can't decide on what kind of wheels I want to put on it yet.

If you want another layer of security, put a baby monitor in your car under your seat at night, and sleep next to the receiver.
Great color too! You got a great car.
As far as BAR legal swaps go, you have lots of options since you have a 92. You can swap in a motor as long as it's the same year or newer than your model year (1992).
To keep things easier and avoid having to use a conversion harness, look for an OBD1 motor. Another benefit of OBD1 is ease of tuning. You can put a Hondata S300 in your ECU and not have to worry about immobilizers and extra sensors that you don't have. I would look into one of the following:
1994-1995 Integra GSR = B18C1
1994-1995 Del Sol VTEC = B16A3
If you want to boost your car later, look for this one due to the lower compression and longer transmission gearing:
1994-1995 Integra RS/LS/GS/SE = B18B1
There are a variety of other engines you can put in as well, but the ones above will be among the most cost-effective for you in order to pass the B.A.R. and smog requirements.

Re: New Honda Civic Si Owner!
Thanks everyone for the help. Yeah this baby gets parked in the garage at night so it's all good lol.
I'm definitely going to try to get a B18C1 as soon as I can. The motor I have now is burning oil and leaking coolant (just bought a new water pump and t-belt) but I don't know for sure if I want to fix the oil problem yet or wait till I can afford a new motor swap.
Btw, are there any good shops in the Bay Area that are good at doing motor swaps?
Haha yeah I really like the looks of the Spoon SW388's but I can't afford them and everyone says not to get Rota Slipstreams.
