Is this normal after a new master cylinder?
I just got a new OEM Honda master cylinder on my 92 vx,
I put the master on the booster with some fluid in it and pumped it so the fluid ran threw the master, then connected the lines and flushed them with ATE Superblue fluid.
The brakes felt good and not much air came out then I started the car and the pedal had about 5" of free play untill the brakes worked.
When the car is on and I pump the brakes the pedal does not get stiffer, when the car is off the pedal gets stiffer when pumped.
I am assuming this just means I need to drive around the block then rebleed the system again?

bleed the system out while the car is running. the booster has to be under a vaccuum from the motor. you'll notice a big difference when your done.
