Default Need Help guys- ECU

I have a OBD2 JDM GSR into a EJ8, 98 ex. I am unsure what ECU to use. Keep in mind that later I will be puting Neptune in it when I boost it. Should I go with a OBD1 ECU p28?

I am very clueless when it comes to ECU's. I would like to stay OBD2 also.

Another questions. Can I have the p28 chipped and still be able to add Neptune later or should the ECU be virgin?

Depends... Which version of Neptune ? RTP ?

If you have a virgin P28 and have the 28 Pin Dip socket soldered in, its typically not recommended to desolder the socket. Since you'd be applying heat not only one time but four times - The chances of burning a track or damaging the ECU is likely unless you take it to a professional that has a good soldering iron station.

just my .02 cents
