i'm thinking about getting the old style jackson racing supercharger set up howerver engine management is extremely important to me as this is my DD. i like the set up because its low boost, safe for the street and should still add quite a bit of power.

heres a link of what i was looking at.. 234 with 170ish torque without any other mods so i'm hoping with bolt ons its in the 250ish range... anyway to my question. i already have the Hondata reflash. will the engine management with this kit work with hondata... is it ****? or should i wait till hondata has a boost specific program to boost?

 

just like the comptech blower.... you will need a custom reflash specifically with your blower.

reflashing is designed to work specifically for Na... or boost... not both.

So in reality.. you spent 500+ to reflash your car.... for no reason

 

thats what i figured. however the kit i'm looking at says it comes with some piggy back thing.. im not a fan of piggy backs. like vafc's and stuff back in the day. i'm guessing i could ignore that part of the kit and get a custom reflash like u mentioned?

 

i thought he could upgrade it for like 50 bucks or something........... x?

this thing is what comes with it. i'd be ignoring that right? and just having hondata take care of the engine management? i was under the impression hondata didnt have a boost flash yet thats why i was asking.

 

yeah hondata doesnt have anything out for F/I yet.

 

k back to square one. hondata makes no boost reflash but Mike said to get a custom reflash.. if i didnt want to use this vishnu thing that the kit comes with would hondata do a custom reflash? or is the vishnu thing actually a decent way to go? also im guessing it would need to be tunned on a dyno. thanks alot im just trying to cover all my bases before i shell out almost 4 g's on a kit ya know.
