Default =====Cat. problem????=====

(4th gen) 1993 H23A 2.3 D.O.H.C

What performance problems/issues would I expect to have, with a possibly (clogged) cat.? My lude is real sluggish getting up to speed, and I'm woundering if that could be the problem. I've done a complete tune up, use high octane fuel, and have cleaned the egr and iac valves. My car is all stock with the exception of the S.R.I installed, and the engine runs great and is pretty clean. It's just really slow on getting up to speed....
Thanks,
-Shadow-

As you probably already know preludes are rather heavy so they can be sluggish from a stop but your car could be just be sluggish over all because of several factors, What is the condition of your cap and rotor, spark plug wires, spark plugs? You could have dirty injectors or the timing could be off. If you suspect that the cat could be clogged why not take it off and look, its only a 30min project at the most.
