Default question............turbo

I have a 98 civic ex coupe and i am wondering whether the greddy turbo kit would be good for this car or should i go for a bigger turbo such as DRAG offers. I want to be able to run in the low 14s with stock bottom and just upgraded stuff like ignition, fuel injectors, etc. I am just afraid that with DRAG i will have alot of lag since i am a crappy singlecammer........also worried about the bolt situation with the greddy kit.....heard things about the black box not working with the above 95 years. any thoughts from ppl who have either of the turbos would be greatly appreciated. My email is gcbrandon@yahoo.com

since i am a crappy singlecammer.

It's not crappy, just undertuned from the factory...true, the B-series are better engines, but it's not that big of a deal, in my opinion. If you put the money that a STOCK swap would cost into some headwork and rods/pistons; you would be better off.
Sorry, I like my SOHC

I have Greddy Turbo Kits with Greddy Ic on my 98 Civic (sohc).. I bought it from my friend and he installed it for me.. THere is no black box for it.. I have no idea why.. SO anyway I love it because it is quicker accelerate and feel different then using aftermarket parts like header, intake and exhaust.. so I crank up to 10 pound of boost on Profec B.. THere is no problem of stock internal.. I will install the 2.0 mm Greddy Headgasket to keep the compression lower... If you have any question let me know.. HEy if they say Greddy no good.. Well I dont mind and I still love it... LEt me know
