Default Full bottom end rebuild-Can any average Joe do it?

Iv got a b20 build that im about to start on, the block is completely dissasembled (pistons out, crank etc)
Its all gonna be cleaned up ready for the build.

My question, can anyone with a little automotive common sense rebuild one, or am I looking at getting a mechanic to do it ( Do parts need to be specialy 'balanced by machines or anything)

Would I need a load of specialised tools ?(I have a torque wrench, piston ring binder).

Any online tutorials for block rebuilds?

Invest 25$ on " The Step by Step Guide to Engine Blue Printing : Practical Methods for Racing and Rebuilding" Available at your local Barnes and Noble. Or order it on Amazon. Great book has a thorough list of Special tools necessary for Blue Printing and Rebuilding, as well as many hp adding tricks.
