Thank you friends for your advice on my brake problems.
Now a new one has cropped up.
My DRL light is on all the time.
When I switch on the headlights it goes out.
I checked the DRL fuses both inside the hood and under dash.
Both are good.
My car's shift lever gets stuck sometimes.
Problem getting it to move to park and then from park.
Do you think that has something to do with it ?
The headlights work fine. The outer ones that is.
Can anyone tell me which pair lights up as the DRL ? The outer pair or the inner ones.
I live in Canada.
Is replacing the DRL unit costly ?

The inner lights are DRL.

I think you may be on to something w/ the shifter. I can't really say, because I have a manual. On mine the DRL is activated by lowering the parking brake. Sometimes the DRL light doesn't turn out, unless I sorta slam the parking brake down. For me I've decided its either a switch or more likely the relay.

I have the same issue but my light flickers on and off unless I turn the headlights on then the light goes away. I cannot find the wiring diagram for the DRL either as it sounds like I have a lose wire somewhere.

 

Do you have a manual or Auto?

Mine has flickered before. If its a manual try dropping your fist on the top of the parking brake. Its helped for me, but no real solution.
