so i installed my bbk 70mm throttle body and i have two problems. the throttle is sticky and once i get pass the sticky part the pedal is incredibly soft so i'm just revving the **** outta my car all the time. another thing when i start my car and drive off it is fine and my idle is like 1000 and rolling idle is 1200. but after i drive for a couple minutes, both idle raise really high. the idle at a stand still is like 2000, and the idle rolling is like 2500. and the car doesn't decelerate easy the rpms barely go down when the car is in gear and i'm off the throttle.

whats your setup.. that throttle body is alittle large and in charge!

 

gsr motor: usdm itr pistons/itr cams/skunk2 manifold(w/ ported runners) portmatched to 70mm/hytech knockoff header/jdm itr intake

 

that throttle body might be too big for your setup. I would go with 68 at the most.

 

i've been told that but i got the tb/im for free and they were portmatched so i just wanted to use both together. i would like if someone can help me figure out what is the problem.

 

sounds like a throttle cable problem to me.

 

when it starts doing this, pull over and take off the intake tube with the car running..you already said the TB has an issue sticking...make sure that the blade is closing all the way.
