5th gear woes on my upgraded tranny

5th gear woes on my upgraded tranny
just put together my tranny with 3,4,5th mfactory gears, 4.9 fd, and all new gearspeed synchros. 1-4th, reverse gears are fine, however i'm having a problem with 5th gear, it doesn't want to go in completely sometimes. has anybody else experienced this problem with their close gear sets? or is this a problem that will go away once the tranny breaks in. i'm pretty sure the tranny was put together correctly

thats what i thought last time I had some issues with my trans. by the 3rd time of taking it apart, i figured out where i fucked up lol
are you sure you have the sychros in the right place? IIRC I think one of those synchros for 5th is taller than the other...you could also contact Mfactory on HT as well.
