I'm trying to find a good color code/ name that matches or look similar to carbon fiber hood and other carbon pieces. Im thinking of IS300 dark gray look but what else comes close to it Thanks.

 

I would go to a local paint supply shop with your car or CF pieces and get some color chips out in the sun next to the CF and go from there.

 

dont try to match ur paint to carbon fiber!?

The Lexus color that you are referring to is "Smokey Granite".
Seriously though I think CF matches to just about any color and looks pretty damned sweet. Black, Red, Grey, White, hell even Green.

any metallic dark grey looks good. A good shop has a tool that they can put on the car or a part and match it very close to one the database. I would suggest calling around to your local body shops and asking

 

thanks everyone. i just want a color similar to the carbor looks. im probably going with a dark gray look.

 

the dark grey on a 92-95 civic matches identical i have a hood and hatch and you cant even tell untell your right up to it. ill get the color code tomorrow. if you dont mind me asking y do u wanna match i wanted 2 because i didnt really care it was cf i only cared it was light and stelthy y do u
