Default Running 5 wire o2 on z6 p28

Ok. I got my d16z6 swap into my vx I kept my vx harness and the 5 wire o2 sensor. I ran my p07 ecu on the z6 for a while, then I got an auto p28. I've been running my vx 5 wire o2 sensor on my z6 with the p28 for a while and seems to be running ok. Will running the 5 wire only give me a CEL because I really don't care, or is it bad, should I rewire for a 4 wire?

anytime the chk engine light is on the vehicle wil run on last known good parameters so you probally arent getting as good as mpg or hp go back to a 4 wire

the five wire O2 is actually a wideband, it will set CEL#1 in the P28.

unless your running an auto swap you need to pull open the ECU and remove RP17 and RP18, then solder a jumper across RP17 to get rid of CEL#19.

Any CEL is bad, it will drop your MPG and makes the car slower.

rewiring for a four wire O2 is really easy with the VX harness, if you've all ready adapted the O2 wires to accept the 4-wire O2 that is.
one wire to switch at the ECU and it will work fine. If you'd like to go down this path let me kow, I can tell you which wire to move.

I have a 5 speed swap, so thanks FYI on the auto to manual conversion.

So I have the 4 wire o2 sensor itself and I have not adapted it to fit to my harness (I still have the 5 wire left on there and the harness is unmodified). I don't have the inlet for the 4 wire o2 sensor to plug into (the one on the harness) but I can get it from my friends z6 harness I got the auto p28 from, or can I just wire it onto the 5 wire inlet/outlet plug thing?

So what exactly will I have to do to get this 4 wire o2 on there and not throwing any CEL's?
