Hey guys i havent written in a lil while cuz ive been busy but yeah....I cant believe how ignorant people are these days. I work at a 3 level mall and on saturday some ******* parked beside me and hit my passenger door. My car is black, so it shows up a LOT and its really pised me off. ive only have the car for 2 months (its a 5speed 91 black accord LX 2 door...mint condition) and ive babied it. Ive washed it so much and taken so much care of it and some *** hit it and its gonna cost me about $750 to fix (the door panels are dented, the molding is broken, and its all scratched to ****). I mean its bad enough that it happened but the person never even left me a note and nobody came forward as a witness so i cant even claim it on my insurance as liability. I just find it annoying how so many people take for granted how much work others put into their cars. I had plans to throw a CAT back on it this summer and save up for rims/lowering next year, but the CAT is now gonna have to wait.

 

dude i hear ya...in my senior year of hs everyone got assigned parkin and the chick next to me hit my pass. side door so bad i couldnt even open it...i was soooooo pissed...and she didnt leave a note or anything...but one of my friends saw it and left me a note on my car...and when they called us both in to the office she started cryin and sayin she didnt do it and **** like that...i just wanted to slap her...but it got fixed...half assed tho..pisses me off...but why cant you claim in to your insurence co? even tho there arent any witnesses..?

 

yeah same at my school...i didnt claim it on my insurance cuz i dont HAVE collision insurance. I mean, i paid $5000 for my car....if i didnt want to be getting raped by insurance id have to make the deductiable like $1000....if i paid $5 grand and i wrapped my car around a pole it would be pointless paying $1 grand cash and having high insurance rates for like 2 years. I have liability so if someone saw someone hit me i could claim it under that, but the insruance companies are jerks and they wont be like "well you SAY you got hit......ok ill believe you" so i am screwed. meh as far as i know i think my family is chipping in to help.

 

hmmm I'm wondering... if you can just key up your car, tell your insurance company it was vandalized, and they'll cover the paint job, and right before it goes into the auto body shop, hammer out that dent, bondo it over, and "tadah"! new paint job! From what I've heard from numerous people, your premium won't go up for vandalism..orrrrr you can just say it was a hit n run, i mean somethings you just can't prove to an insurance company and they'll just have to eat your words and take it for granted...depending on what kind of provider you're going through... some are real lenient, some are shitty as ****...and if all you have is liability, guess you're **** outta luck, sorry
