Default Transmission issue

my car (b series eh2) does not go into gear while the engine is on.

i can push the clutch down, and try to push it into 1st. it doesn't go in but the car would move forward at .5 mph
i can place it in 1st gear and then turn on the engine, it will start to move while my foot is still pressed on the clutch and not on gas. but when i step on the breaks the engine dies
after 1st gear its just really hard to put it into the next gear and occasionally scratches

i took off the 1 of the 5 mounts on my engine. the lower 'driver' side one that hooks to the AC. at the time i just thought it was to support the AC but my mechanic told me it was a mount. and said it could have caused an unbalance that may caused the shift linkage to flex and not go all the way while driving

a week after i took it off i punched the car from a roll and and after i drove into a parking lot it started to give me these problems listed above except it was an off and on thing. one stop light it would work fine then next light it would **** out on me. now it just gives me the problems 100% of the time.

i replaced my slave and master cylinders and had the shift linkage "bent" back. mechanic looked at my clutch and said it looks new (7k mi). and the mount is back on. car still gives me these problems

just looking for any help

shift fork fucked up maybe? what aftermarket mounts are you using for your swap? cause even if the trans is a little low it will make shifting hard if not impossible.

you should switch to either hasport or azracemachine mounts. they are made to keep everything lined up right. plus they will reduce engine vibration soak. the interga mounts are a poor-mans way to go.. IMO

the engine bay of a dc2 and eh2 are basically the same, my motor is basically stock cept bolt ons. its not like i'm pushing major horse power. so i wouldn't think honda would design mounts that can't hold their stock motors

so your mechanic said your clutch is good? could be the pressure plate or it could be a tranny problem.

springs in the pressure plate, typical B series issue.
