ok i am building a 83mm ls vtec.. but for now i was given a ls motor.... i already had a turbo kit on my lsvtec 81.5mm pistons and rods motor cracked sleeve...
i was given a turbo from a friend today its a turbonetics t3 to4b with .63 ar come from a drag kit for a prelude... any one know what kind of power this t will support on a ls motor... jw did some research and couldnt find it

 

thats the turbo revhard uses on tehre sohc kits, i say prolly 350 but its really a wild guess.

 

its a great turbo I seen it go on the 400hp no problem

 

wonder how many lbs it will take to make around 300 whp

every engine is different, cams/cr/displacement/exhuast/etc... all play a roll, for example i made 300whp on 9.5psi with a t3/t04e and i had a 1.6!!

 

It will make roughly 400whp on most setups before you'll start to overspin the turbo, as long as the oil seals last that long in the first place.
