is it ok if i put a 2000 b16 head on a b16a motor and what hp am i looking at?

That would be the exact same bottom end you already have unless it's obd 1 JDM cause then your get a litter higher compression but you won't really even feel it. LS/vtec B20/vtec or forced induction if you want to go alot faster, the B16 pretty much sucks for all motor unless your pockets are deeeeep.

yea, u might fall out of vtec in 5th gear. i dont kno what other problems it will have though. get an s1 tranny, they're from the crx siR

 

try not to get an ls tranny I have one and the high rpm shifts kill the syncos they just arent built for it. mine is starting to develop grinds in 2nd and 3rd.

build your b16 na or turbo it i hate when people swap in b16 or 18 and think they are going to be fast. I would rather have a lsvtec then a stock gsr or b16a

 

do a nitrous set up. tune it well and you'll be happy.
