Default Rear Swaybar install problem.

Ok so i have a rear usdm itr sway bar that i want to put on my 95 integra. so i also needed to replace the lca because the bolts were stuck in there. so i put on omni power lca's not the new design. and when i went to put the sway bar on using the integra stock endlinks it did not seem to fit. if someone could help me out on how they connected there lca's to the swaybar that would be great. i was wondering if i needed to get different endlinks or i am just doing something wrong.

are the end link crooked, or do they not fit at all. If they're crooked you can shim them out with spacers.

And do you have some kind of reinforcement, or a backing plate for the swaybar, because if you don't theres a very good chance that your subframe will tear out, and you'll want to cut your ***** off if that happens to you.

Just my 2 cents.

cant you just change the angle of everything a little bit? Pull the sway bar down a little which would make it closer to the subframe? or am i missingsomething?

I am not sure exactly what is the problem, but many people have the bar flipped upside down which causes the endlinks to not line up.

attach the D brackets on first then try and fit the end link bolt onto the LCA.

i had a hard time putting it throguht too. i used a jack to push my lca up so its closer to the blot and shove the end link bolt through the LCA hole.

i tryed that at first it doesent seem like it is going to fit i think it isent designed to be flat against the subframe cuz the stock one has that bracket that makes the bar come out about a inch

Try pushing the LCA up with a jack...

a lot of people have done this mod, including me. You just have to shift it right and it will fit fine.

Did you install the endlinks correctly? That is the only thing I can think of.. unless the LCA's are for a different model car...

You need to by the spacers from Acura for a normal Integra. (maybe a GSR/LS/GS/RS) I just went to Acura today to order all the bolts etc to hook it all up and I had a look at a type r in the parking lot and it didnt have to spacer but a normal integra did. Look at some other write ups (they are black with for holes)

Do youself a favour and buy a subframe reinforcement kit to go along with your sway bar. You may run into subframe tearout without reinforcement.

Beaks, ASR Subframe brace, Comptech Subframe brace. All these will space the bar away from the subframe and take care of your issue.

The beaks kit will come out about a 1/4 inch from the sub frame from the top mounting hole. Did you spray the swaybar red?
