Default Rebuilding block or buy a new one?

What will be cheaper...........rebuilding my block or just replacing it with a lower milage one?

This is for my daily, so nothing afermarket or stuff like that.

I've just reached that point where I need a fresh running motor again.

Thanks for the advice.

That sounded weird, let me rephrase that, "Personally I would rebuild"...

depends what you're doing to it. if you just want the reliability of a low mileage engine, then rebuild the internals -- piston rings etc. theres no point in getting another block. if you want to boost or something, bore it or sleeve it, then its still using your current block...

I think he just wants a plain 100% stock motor...

Replace pistons, rods, rings, all internals...

yes i just need a 100% reliable daily driver. The clock reads 140k right now, and block is leaking Oil, nothing major just a tad.

any idea on how much it would run me with parts?
