Default Honing the block necessary??

I currently have the block torn apart (its still in the car) and plan on dropping in the new itr pistons. Is it Necessary to hone the block, the motor has only about 40,000 miles. All the cyl. look perfect, stock crosshatch still looking new, i plan on reusing the bearings also.

Thanks

If you have the time and some cash, I would do a total rebuild. That's what I did. Saves headaches in the long run. PM if you want more info.
